Rosevale Regal R132(PS) is a Majestic son out of Strathmore Sergeant(PS) blood cow who had nine calves straight. Realising the genetic strength of such family lines, we aim at retaining sons of cows that breed annually and consistently to an old age. Regal was retained for one breeding season before selling as a three-year-old for $26,000 to Greg & Jill Peck’s Purtora Family Trust. He was mated to a range of cows and bred consistently. His performance across the traits is very solid and sees his profit $Indexes all sit within the top 15% of the breed. These are calculated by combining all trait measures to fit different production systems and markets. Meeting high levels in all highlights the versatility of such bulls.
