Rosevale Novak N74(P) is sired by breed legend Wave Hill Major(P) out of Boronia B63, the dam of Empire and Maverick. He is an impressive beef bull displaying terrific length, depth and width. Novak weighed in at 1,215 kg at five years of age and is all volume. He is soundly put together and his calves are particularly quiet. He was not used as a sire as early as we would have liked due to suffering from chronic seminal vesiculitis which affected his semen quality. His first daughters calved as two-year-olds last season and are breeding well. His Days to Calving EBV of -21.7 days ranks him at #3 sire in the breed. This trait drives his top 1% breeding $Indexes. With female fertility being the major driver for profit in the Fertility Plus $Index, it is no surprise that he is the #4 ranked sire in the breed for this measure. One of his sons in Underrated U52(PS) has been retained as a sire.
